About The Position

Join the #1 hospital in Wisconsin as a Registered Nurse (RN) at University Hospital in Madison, WI. This 75% FTE position offers 8/10/12 hour shifts, Monday - Friday with start times between 6:30 am - 8:00 am, and includes weekend, weekday, and holiday on-call responsibilities. Hours may vary based on operational needs. You will collaborate with exceptionally qualified providers and technical staff using state-of-the-art technology in various modalities including procedure prep and recovery, Interventional Radiology (Body and Neuro), Ultrasound, MRI, and Musculoskeletal. Be part of a team involved in cutting-edge, evidence-based therapies and research studies, with opportunities to participate in quality improvement initiatives and lead practice change. Requirements

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of WI or holds a license issued by a jurisdiction that has adopted the nurse licensure compact Upon Hire
• Current CPR/BLS Certification Upon Hire
• Six (6) months nursing experience or current participant in UW Health’s Nurse Residency Program with successful completion of the Nurse Residency Orientation on unit/similar unit.
• Relevant RN Experience

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• ACLS within 6 months
• Relevant certification

Responsibilities

• Provide care in various modalities including: procedure prep and recovery, Interventional Radiology Body, Interventional Radiology Neuro, Ultrasound, MRI, and Musculoskeletal.
