Five Star is seeking compassionate RNs / Registered Nurses to work within our client's facilities, providing follow-through of the physician-established plan of treatment and working under the supervision of the RN Supervisor. Requirements
- Currently holds an active RN license to work in New York.
- CPR Certified (BLS or ALS accepted).
- Meets all State and Federal requirements for US employment in a Nursing Facility.
- Strong patient assessment skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Demonstrated clinical competency.
Responsibilities
- Accurately record medical histories.
- Take and record vital signs, collect samples for lab testing.
- Administer medications and perform approved procedures and care.
- Monitor patient condition and compose patient charts.
- Provide emotional and psychological support when needed.
- Communicate with patients’ families to provide advice, comfort, and release instructions.
- Provide supervision to CNAs and LPNs and assist as necessary.
