Requirements
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained within 2 Months (60 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
- Certified BLS Provider specializing in Basic Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
- Graduate of an approved professional (RN) nursing program.

- Experience in acute care or a related healthcare setting.
- Specialized certifications relevant to the clinical area.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the development of a multidisciplinary plan of care to ensure appropriate length of stay, resource utilization, and quality outcomes.
- Provide patient care that respects individual rights, dignity, values, culture, preferences, and expressed needs.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, safety measures, medications, and self-care, ensuring effective communication and understanding.
- Administer medications, manage IV therapy, and perform procedures according to established policies and procedures.
- Monitor patient responses to interventions, recognizing and responding to acute changes in patient conditions.
- Collaborate with case managers and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions and appropriate referrals for continued care.
