About The Position
This is a full-time Registered Nurse position working nights (7 PM - 7 AM) in an Urgent Care Health and Wellness Hospital setting. The role involves providing practical care to patients in compliance with clinical and nursing standards, with specialized skills for the clinic environment. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, conscientious, and meticulous, dedicated to providing optimal patient care as part of a healthcare team.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
- Valid Texas RN License/Eligible Compact License
- Must maintain a current BLS & ACLS & PALS certification from American Heart Association
- BSN required or must be obtained within 3 years of hire
Nice To Haves
- ER Experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assessing and treating medical conditions.
- Take and record patient histories and physical examinations.
- Communicate with physicians regarding patient care and follow-up.
- Participate with physicians in reviewing patient health records.
- Ensure adequate patient records are maintained, completed, accurately documented, readily accessible, and systematically organized.
- Perform services in accordance with company policy.
- Participate in Quality Improvement (QI) for the clinic.
- Adjust work hours/schedules to meet clinic needs and demands.
- Be aware of Emergency Disaster Plans and how to respond in a disaster.
- Work effectively with others, demonstrate leadership and teaching ability, and the ability to work under pressure.
