About The Position

At Cypress Pointe Health & Wellness, we are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for our Skilled Nursing / Healthcare facility. This role is crucial in providing high-quality healthcare and customer service, where associates are valued as our most important asset. The RN will contribute to patient care and satisfaction, understanding that every interaction impacts patients, families, team members, and the public. This position is located in Houston, TX.

Requirements

• 1 year experience as an RN required!
• Current state license as an RN
• Graduate of an accredited program of practical nursing
• Proof of current CPR certification required!
• Ability to work flexible schedule
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule

Responsibilities

• Participate in the planning and coordination of total patient care in conjunction with the RN and the physician's plan of care, and follow the nursing care plan for each patient.
• Accurately report and record the patient's condition and care, including signs and symptoms which may be indicative of change.
• Prepare clinical/progress notes and summaries.
• Assist the physician and Registered Nurse in complex nursing situations.
• Follow universal precautions whenever giving any aspect of patient care.
• Follow emergency procedures in the event of any catastrophic event, incident, e.g., accident, injury or significant change in the patient's condition.
