About The Position

Saratoga Medical is hiring Registered Nurses (RN) for PRN (as-needed) and ITR (Intake, Transfer, Release) positions in Phoenix, AZ. These roles offer flexible work opportunities, including assignments with Maricopa County Correctional Health Services. PRN RNs will work flexible, as-needed shifts and must be willing to float. ITR RNs will work 3 x 12-hour night shifts per week with a minimum 13-week commitment.

Requirements

Copy of current, valid, unrestricted RN license issued by the Arizona State Board of Nursing OR a participating Compact State
Copy of current, completed PSV from the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (Nursys)
Copy of current N95 fit testing
Minimum one year of past work experience in this position
Copy of current, completed First Aid Certification

Responsibilities

Provides assessments and implements appropriate nursing interventions
Monitors patient’s progress as appropriate and evaluates outcomes
Performs standard nursing procedures appropriate to patient needs
Completes and processes all required documentation, including plans and discharge planning, in a comprehensive, objective, and legible manner
Provides health-related education to patients as appropriate to patient needs
Administers medication and addresses other pharmacological needs as protocol dictates, and performs basic intravenous and phlebotomy skills as required
Participates in the orientation and training of new employees, contract staff, students, and others as needed
