About The Position
Reporting to the Practice Coordinator, 4 North Telemetry, the Registered Nurse (Level I, II, III or IV) coordinates and delivers patient care using the nursing process. After appropriate educational preparation, the Registered Nurse may expand the scope of practice in general or specialty areas of nursing. Criteria and specific job duties for the levels are defined by each department’s area-specific criteria.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse with the State of California.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within six months of hire into the position.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, family, and health care personnel.
- Ability to handle varying issues in any situation and work effectively individually and as a member of a team in a stress-producing environment.
