The Role Under general direction, the Registered Nurse (RN) serves as a member of a multidisciplinary team performing a variety of nursing and client care activities designed to ensure that clients receive all necessary care in accordance with the nursing care plan, established in accordance with the agency policies and procedures, and standards of Nursing Practice. This work is carried out in support of the mission and goals of Samaritan Daytop Village.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing
• NYS RN licensure
• BLS certification
• Minimum of One-Three (1-3) years of demonstrated experience as an RN preferably working with clients with Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and/or Serious Mental Illness (SMI)
• Proficiency in Phlebotomy and EKG
• Available to work a flexible schedule as needed in response to participant and staff needs
• Computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EMR
