About The Position

Affirmed Home Care is hiring per diem Registered Nurses to provide personalized, high-level care to specialized clients throughout Hartford County. Nurses work hourly shifts of 6–12 hours or provide care through individual visits. The agency seeks RNs with acute care experience, particularly from ICU, Med Surg, or Emergency Department backgrounds. Day and overnight shifts and RN visits are available.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of RN experience in an acute care setting.
• Active Connecticut RN license.
• Valid BLS certification.
• Physical exam completed within the past year.
• PPD or QuantiFERON test completed within the past year; chest X-ray within the past 5 years if the test is positive.
• U.S. work authorization.

Nice To Haves

• Home care experience is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license is preferred.
• Experience in ICU, Med Surg, or Emergency Department settings is especially sought.
