About The Position
DaVita is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide care to patients with end-stage renal disease or chronic kidney conditions in an outpatient dialysis setting. Dialysis experience is not required, and paid training is provided. The role involves hands-on care for medically complex patients and building long-term relationships with them. The nurse will work with a clinical team, including Patient Care Technicians, and may float to nearby clinics. A flexible schedule is required; training may take place at a clinic other than the nurse’s home location.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Reliable transportation for potential floating.
- Flexible schedule required.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Experience in ICU, CCU, ER, or Med Surg.
- CNN or CDN certification.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in an outpatient dialysis setting.
- Monitor patients, manage treatment plans, and respond to changes in their health.
- Collaborate with the clinical team, including Patient Care Technicians.
- Educate patients and families about kidney health and treatment options.
- Float to nearby clinics as needed.
