Registered Nurse
About The Position
DaVita is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide care to patients with end-stage renal disease or chronic kidney conditions in an outpatient dialysis setting. Dialysis experience is not required, and paid training is provided. The role involves direct patient care, monitoring patients and treatment plans, responding to changes in health, collaborating with a clinical team, and educating patients and families about kidney health and treatment options. The nurse may float to nearby clinics and must be available for a flexible schedule. Training may take place at a clinic other than the home location. The work is described as fast-paced and hands-on, with opportunities to build long-term patient relationships and apply a broad range of nursing skills with medically complex patients.
Requirements
- RN license in the state of practice.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Reliable transportation for potential floating.
- Flexible schedule required, including availability for shifts that may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Experience in ICU, CCU, ER, or Med Surg.
- CNN or CDN certification.
Responsibilities
