About The Position
The Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU) Registered Nurse position is for a new graduate nurse with less than one year of experience. This role functions under the direction of the Nurse Manager, continuing to build competency in direct patient care. The nurse contributes to unit activities, supports the enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level, and supports peers in patient care services. The NICU is a specialized, nationally recognized center providing the highest level of care for sick or premature newborns, including advanced treatment for respiratory failure and heart disease. The role requires the ability to work in a high-tech, fast-paced environment, with excellent organizational and conflict resolution skills, and a commitment to customer-focused, family-centered care. Requirements
- Less than one year of experience as a nurse.
