About The Position

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for their partner healthcare facility in Redding, Ca. This position is in the Radiology Diagnostic department and is available on a Per Diem basis for day shifts. The assignment length is 4 weeks. Requirements

Current and valid state RN License.
Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
Current ACLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
One (1) year of acute clinical Radiology Nursing experience required.
Conscious Sedation Monitoring competency within 30 days upon hire and maintain current.

Nice To Haves

Certified Radiology Nurse (CRN) preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process.
Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice.
Works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
Provides the highest quality nursing care and service excellence in the continuum of care.
Works in support of the Radiologist, providing assistance in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Assists with the maintenance of equipment and inventory.
Assesses procedure room or equipment functioning and readiness.
Responsible for adherence to regulations, standards and hospital or unit policies and procedures.
Participates in Performance Improvement activities, department meetings and in-services.
Acts as a resource for other personnel as appropriate.
