Registered Nurse (RN) 2 West Med/Surg
About The Position
2 West is a 12-bed inpatient medical/surgical unit that provides care to all types of medical surgical patients with a variety of medical diagnoses. The unit provides comprehensive, patient-centered care for adults with a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions, as well as those recovering from surgical procedures. The focus is on promoting recovery, managing complex health needs, and preparing patients for a successful transition to home or the next level of care. As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- All RNs are required to obtain Chemotherapy Administration Certification within 1 year.
