Registered Nurse (RN)
About The Position
DaVita is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its outpatient dialysis team, providing care to patients with end-stage renal disease or chronic kidney conditions. Dialysis experience is not required; paid training is provided. The role offers hands-on care in a fast-paced environment, long-term patient relationships, and opportunities to apply a broad range of nursing skills with medically complex patients. The schedule is three 12-hour shifts per week, with flexible shifts that may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Nurses may float to nearby clinics, and training may take place at a clinic other than their home location.
Requirements
- Hold an RN license in the state of practice.
- Have an ADN.
- Have basic computer proficiency.
- Have reliable transportation for potential floating.
Nice To Haves
- A BSN.
- Two years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Experience in dialysis or In-Center Hemodialysis (ICHD).
- Experience in ICU, CCU, ER, or Med Surg.
- CNN/CDN certification.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in an outpatient dialysis setting.
- Monitor patients, manage treatment plans, and respond to changes in their health.
- Collaborate with the clinical team, including Patient Care Technicians.
- Educate patients and families about kidney health and treatment options.
- Float to nearby clinics as needed.
