Requirements

Graduate of an accredited RN Program
Valid license with the Iowa Board of Nursing
Current certifications in BLS (Basic Life Support)
Current certifications in ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
Current certifications in PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
Current certifications in TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
Current certifications in NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
Proficiency in relevant software and tools
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred

Responsibilities

Accurately record patient information throughout their admission, stay, and discharge process.
Ensure patient records are complete and up-to-date.
Accurately transcribe physician orders in a timely manner.
Initiate and perform ongoing patient and family education.
Communicate patient observations to healthcare providers in a timely manner.
