About The Position
DaVita is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide dialysis care to patients with end-stage renal disease in skilled nursing facilities. The nurse delivers on-site treatment and compassionate care directly in partner facilities. No prior dialysis experience is required; comprehensive paid training is provided. The role may involve floating to multiple facilities during and after training and working in a fast-paced environment with diverse patient needs. The schedule is flexible and may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of practice.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- ICU, CCU, ER, or Med/Surg experience is a plus.
- CNN or CDN certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide dialysis treatment to patients at skilled nursing facility partner sites.
- Monitor patient vital signs and assess responses to treatment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
- Educate patients and families about treatment and care plans.
- Maintain safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
