School Registered Nurse – 1:1 Care
About The Position

Join Cross Country Education as a Registered Nurse in Anaheim, CA and provide dedicated 1:1 care and specialized respiratory support that promotes an elementary student’s safety, comfort, and participation at school. Provide dedicated 1:1 nursing care to an elementary student with complex medical needs, including ventilator and tracheostomy support, G-tube feedings, and supplemental oxygen as needed. Monitor respiratory status, vital signs, and overall health while providing safe ventilator and tracheostomy management and responding appropriately to changes in the student’s condition. Assist with daily care, mobility, transfers, and positioning, including safely supporting a student weighing 80+ pounds. Maintain accurate health documentation and collaborate with school staff and the student’s healthcare team to promote safety, comfort, and participation throughout the school day.
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Active and current California Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on nursing experience with ventilator support and tracheostomy care required
Nice To Haves
- Experience providing 1:1 care to medically complex pediatric patients, including G-tube feeding and oxygen management, strongly preferred
