About The Position

BAYADA Hospice is seeking a compassionate, dedicated full-time Registered Nurse to serve hospice clients on a per-visit basis in Delaware County, from its Newtown Square, Pennsylvania office. The RN is an integral member of a multidisciplinary health care team providing palliative care that helps clients receive the medical care they need while remaining at home. Prior home care and/or hospice experience is preferred but not required. The role includes occasional after-hours and/or weekend on-call duties. Requirements

• Hold a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania.
• Have at least one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
• Have solid computer skills.
• Be able to travel to assigned cases.

Nice To Haves

• Prior home care and/or hospice experience.
• Prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR).

Responsibilities

• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
• Perform assigned duties, including medication administration, wound care, treatments, procedures, and comfort care.
• Monitor clients’ conditions and report changes to the Clinical or Client Services Manager.
• Follow up on, execute, and properly document doctors’ orders.
• Perform client assessments as necessary.
• Provide occasional on-call coverage after hours and/or on weekends.
