Registered Nurse RN Emergency
About The Position
The Registered Nurse provides quality, patient-centered care that considers patients’ age-specific, developmental, cultural, and spiritual needs through competent clinical practice and application of the nursing process. The nurse integrates relationship-based care into practice and serves as a clinical and educational resource to others on the unit. This position is in the Emergency Department at Chelsea Hospital in Chelsea, Michigan. The department operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and treats more than 18,000 patients annually for emergencies ranging from life-threatening conditions and major injuries to minor injuries. The facility includes a five-bay observation center and 20 private examination rooms. The role is full-time and benefit-eligible, working 72 hours per pay period on a 12-hour night shift from 5 p.m. to 5 a.m. Every third weekend and holiday rotation is required.
Requirements
- Current Michigan nursing license.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- New hires must have a BSN degree or agree in writing to obtain a BSN within five years.
