Registered Nurse - RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) - Full-time - Nights
About The Position
NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for its Intensive Care Unit. The nurse will practice evidence-based nursing and help improve the patient care experience as part of an action-oriented team. The hospital describes its nurses as educators, researchers, and bedside innovators, and offers flexible scheduling, shared clinical decision-making, inspirational leadership, and supportive colleagues. This is an on-site night-shift position, 7:30 PM to 8:00 AM, with rotating weekends and alternating holidays. Employees are expected to live within a commutable distance to NYP; travel expenses are not reimbursed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current New York State Registered Nurse license.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
Nice To Haves
- At least 1 year of ICU RN experience is strongly preferred.
- Critical Care Registered Nurse Certification (CCRN).
