About The Position

The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process and in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. The position includes delivering clinical care, monitoring and communicating patient conditions, supporting activities of daily living, coordinating care across disciplines, educating patients and families, and advocating for patients’ physical and emotional well-being. The role is PRN, with a 12-hour shift listed as 7–7:30.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing, or Nursing Diploma program.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• CPR/BCLS certification.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• ACLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs plan-of-care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care treatment.
• Documents patient care provided.
• Monitors and records patient condition and communicates updates as appropriate to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharge, referrals, and spiritual or psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluates patient and/or family learning needs and provides education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Advocates for patients’ physical and emotional well-being.
