About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for a 13-week travel assignment at Arthur M. Blank Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the nation's leading pediatric healthcare organizations, providing exceptional perioperative care in a fast-paced surgical environment. Candidates with pediatric OR experience and charge nurse experience are highly encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2+ years of recent Operating Room experience with prior travel experience required
• Charge Nurse experience required (Office Surgery experience will not be considered)
• Current BLS and PALS certifications required
• Experience with Neuro, Orthopedic, ENT, General, and Eye surgeries required
• Flu vaccination, nicotine screening, and drug screening required (Nicotine-Free Facility)

Nice To Haves

• Pediatric OR experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Assist surgeons and the surgical team across Neuro, Orthopedic, ENT, General, and Eye surgeries
• Prepare operating rooms, surgical instruments, and equipment while maintaining sterile technique
• Monitor patient safety throughout the surgical procedure and respond quickly to changing patient conditions
• Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR and collaborate with the multidisciplinary surgical team
• Float as needed to support patient care and departmental operations
