As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver person-centred care by assessing patient needs and planning, implementing, and coordinating appropriate services to support positive outcomes. You will work with increasing independence while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and other services to ensure safe, effective care. In this role, you will contribute to quality improvement initiatives, support team coordination, and step into leadership responsibilities when required. You will also be involved in health education, support students and new staff, and apply evidence-based practice in your day-to-day care. As your experience develops, you will provide guidance to less experienced staff and contribute to maintaining high standards of care across the service.

Requirements

  • Must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate
  • Must have demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice
