About The Position

Benedictine Living Community – La Crosse is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join its care team. The role is based on integrated nursing principles and includes assessments, care planning, interventions, evaluations, and maintaining professional nursing standards. The RN develops and implements individualized plans of care and supports residents, families, and caregivers through education. Nurses of all experience levels, including new graduates, are welcome.

Requirements

• Hold a current RN license in good standing; the posting specifies an active Wisconsin RN license.
• Have the organizational skills needed to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident care.
• Have excellent communication skills and strong clinical and patient care skills.
• Be able to read, write, and communicate in English.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in nursing, direct patient care, or healthcare settings is preferred.
• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is highly desirable.
• Relevant experience may include skilled nursing, long-term care, assisted living, rehabilitation nursing, medical-surgical nursing, geriatric nursing, memory care, or other clinical nursing specialties.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized plans of care based on assessment and diagnosis.
• Demonstrate knowledge of medications and administer them correctly.
• Plan and provide education for residents, families, and caregivers.
• Perform nursing assessments, interventions, and evaluations while maintaining professional nursing standards.
