About The Position
The Direct Patient Care Registered Nurse- DPC RN is a licensed professional able to demonstrate proficiency and mastery of core competencies including assessment, technical skills, communication, critical thinking, interpersonal skills, planning, intervention, evaluation, flexibility, organizational skills, professional accountability, leadership, and service. The RN delivers patient-family centered care in a culturally competent manner, utilizing and promoting evidence-based practice standards of quality, safety, and service. This is a seasonal contract position within the Emergency Department at Bethesda West, offering per diem shifts from 1 PM to 1:30 AM. The estimated pay range for this position is $67.00 / hour.
Requirements
- 2 years ER RN experience required.
- BLS, ACLS and PALS required.
- ASN, Licensed Registered Nurse eligible to practice in FL.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (dependent upon unit) certification by the AHA or American Red Cross.
- Commitment to a 12-week, 16-week, 18-week, or 24-week contract in the Baptist Health Seasonal Nursing Pool.
- Commitment to work any three twelve-hour shifts per week and every other weekend during the Agreement period for a total of 36 hours per week.
