About The Position

As a Registered Nurse, you’ll provide direct, hands-on care to residents, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring overall health. You’ll lead and collaborate with a supportive care team to ensure each resident receives personalized, high-quality care. Requirements

  • Must hold a current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required to ensure participant safety.
  • Must be able to lift and move up to 35 pounds independently.

Nice To Haves

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred, but we’ll consider an Associate degree if paired with relevant experience.
  • Prior experience working with elderly individuals or in geriatric care is highly valued.
  • Background in skilled nursing or long-term care environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Direct Nursing Care – Administer medications, perform treatments, monitor vital signs and wound care.
  • Conduct Health Assessments – Evaluate residents and report changes in condition to the clinical team.
  • Monitor and Adjust Care Plans – Observe residents for adverse reactions or side effects and update care plans accordingly.
  • Coordinate Interdisciplinary Care – Work with teams to enhance residents’ quality of life.
  • Supervise and Mentor Staff – Oversee nursing assistants and support staff, providing guidance and mentorship.
  • Document Resident Care – Complete daily and monthly records accurately, reflecting care provided and resident responses.
  • Manage Admissions and Discharges – Perform admission and discharge procedures as directed.
  • Maintain Medical Records – Keep accurate, up-to-date records in compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Ensure Safety and Infection Control – Follow all protocols to maintain a safe environment for residents and staff.
  • Prevent Spread of Illness – Adhere to proper infection control procedures at all times.
  • Engage in Ongoing Education – Maintain certifications and stay current with best practices.
