About The Position

Monument Health is seeking passionate and professional Registered Nurses (RNs) to join their team at the Hoskinson Health & Wellness Clinic. This role involves providing compassionate, patient-focused care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. RNs will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, families, and support systems to prevent or resolve illness, disability, or injury, and advocate for patients. The position emphasizes a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and mutual respect, aiming to enhance patient care and achieve organizational goals. Requirements

Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) - Within 60 days of hire or transfer
Registered Nurse (RN) - South Dakota Board of Nursing or Wyoming Board of Nursing for Wyoming facilities
Requires the ability to work assigned schedules and hours as determined by the department.

Responsibilities

Collects comprehensive data pertinent to the Healthcare consumer’s health and/or the situation.
Analyzes the assessment data to determine the diagnosis or the issues.
Identifies expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the Healthcare consumer of the situation.
Develops a plan that prescribes strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes.
Implements the identified plan.
Ensures patient progression along plan.
Coordinates care delivery.
Employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment.
Evaluates progress toward attainment of outcomes.
Systematically enhances the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice.
Attains knowledge and competency that reflects current nursing practice.
Evaluates one’s own nursing practice in relation to professional practice standards and guidelines, relevant statutes, rules, and regulations.
Interacts with and contributes to the professional development of peers and colleagues.
Collaborates with patient, family and others in the conduct of nursing practice.
Integrates ethical provisions in all areas of practice.
Integrates research findings into practice.
Considers factors related to safety, effectiveness, cost and impact on practice in the planning and delivery of nursing services.

Practices within the legal scope of a Registered Professional Nurse as outlined by the state in which employment occurs and delivers competent care consistent with standards / policies, laws, regulators/accreditation/certifying organizations.

Proficiently uses applicable technology and software to support and document nursing activities and patient care.

Continuously seeks out opportunities to improve the quality of patient care delivery through innovative and creative problem solving.
