About The Position

The Emergency Department at Logan Health Medical Center in Kalispell, Montana, is searching for compassionate, skilled, and resilient Registered Nurses (RNs) to join their team. As an ED RN, you will provide patient-centered care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation) in a Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center environment. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes, accurately document care, educate patients and families, and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions with critical thinking and prioritization. The Emergency Department has 28 private rooms and a diverse patient population, offering opportunities to treat trauma cases, support critical care patients, and respond to unexpected medical challenges.

Requirements

• Current Montana RN license or compact license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (RQI) within 7 days of hire or prior to independent patient care
• Knowledge of professional nursing practices, patient care standards, and medical terminology
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
• Ability to prioritize, adapt to changing patient conditions, and function effectively in a team-based environment
• Commitment to patient confidentiality and professional standards

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Minimum of two (2) years of Emergency Department or acute care experience
• Emergency Department Certification
• ACLS and PALS within 6 months of hire
• TNCC and ENPC within 1 year of hire
