Registered Nurse – Early Treatment for Admitted Patients/ED Holding – Full Time Night Team-Driven Nursing Excellence RN – Early Treatment of Admitted Patients (ETAP) Unit At NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens, ETAP/ED Holding nursing is a moment-to-moment, career-transforming experience. ETAP is a 30 bed unit that serves admitted patients from the ED waiting bed assignment. Here, ETAP nurses independently assess conditions and rapidly coordinate multidisciplinary care. ETAP serves not only as an emergency observation unit, but ensures that our patients admitted from the Emergency Department (ED) receive the same exceptional evaluation and diagnostic services they have come to expect from our hospital, before they even get to their assigned rooms. ETAP nurses make that continuity of care possible. Requirements
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Current New York State RN License
- BLS from the American Heart Association
- ACLS from the American Heart Association
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience within the Emergency Department or comparable experience.
