About The Position

Urology Specialists of the Carolinas is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Registered Nurse to join its expanding clinical team. The organization is a physician-led independent urology group with more than 70 providers serving patients across the Carolinas. The nurse will provide specialized urological nursing care, support physicians and patients in the clinic, and contribute to patient safety, satisfaction, and comfort. The role calls for a commitment to patient care, teamwork, and clinical excellence.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current North Carolina license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a med-surg or related field.

Nice To Haves

Office or ambulatory nursing experience is preferred.
Experience in urology or a specialty practice is a plus.

Responsibilities

Evaluate patient needs through clinical data collection.
Develop and implement individualized care plans with priority nursing diagnoses and measurable goals.
Maintain accurate medical records and histories.
Administer medications and immunizations as directed by healthcare providers.
Perform venipunctures and specimen collection, take and record vital signs, and provide specialized urological nursing care to ensure patient safety, satisfaction, and comfort.
Prepare equipment, assist during examinations and treatments, and support physicians with clinic procedures.
Assist with patient education and provide information on medical conditions, treatment plans, and preventative care measures.
Answer, triage, and respond to calls and messages in a timely manner.
