About The Position
University of Washington Medical Center-Montlake has an outstanding opportunity for an experienced acute care nurse to work on our Renal Medicine, Dialysis, Transplant unit. The 7SA/7N Renal Medicine, Dialysis, Transplant unit provides care for renal medicine, transplantation (kidney, liver, pancreas), and vascular surgery patients. As part of a growing transplant program, 7N supports telemetry care, and RNs rotate between units based on skills. Staff provide dialysis and manage patients across both 7SA and 7N to ensure optimal outcomes.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of current/recent acute care med-surg nursing experience; may consider residency RN
- Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Washington
- BLS required
Responsibilities
- Provides care for renal medicine, transplantation (kidney, liver, pancreas), and vascular surgery patients.
- Supports telemetry care on unit 7N.
- Rotates between units based on skills.
- Provides dialysis.
- Manages patients across both 7SA and 7N to ensure optimal outcomes.
