About The Position
The Registered Nurse position will join the Outpatient Opioid Treatment Center and assist the admissions team, referrals and triage. The Registered Nurse position is responsible of managing daily clinical care and providing medication dosing for patients in accordance with physician’s orders. This position will assist in all areas of patient care, perform labs, EKGs and other approved test. They will collaborate with interdisciplinary team and participate in the treatment planning process.
Requirements
- Knowledge of professional principles, practices and theory of nursing in an outpatient setting.
- Knowledge of laws, rules and regulations governing the provision of nursing care.
- Knowledge of medications and the physiological effect of medications.
- Ability to independently plan, implement and evaluate patients.
- Ability to manage staff in an outpatient setting and provide feedback on care, treatment and services.
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina.
