Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Licensed to practice nursing in the state of Florida or confirmation letter establishing eligibility for issuance upon receipt of SSN.
- BLS from the American Heart Association or American Cross on the first day of employment is required for all areas.
- Demonstrates teamwork and communicates in a professional manner with all members of the healthcare team.
- Demonstrates the ability to learn and apply computer technologies and procedures that affect patient care delivery.
- Associate's Degree
- Age of Patients Served: All Age Groups.
Nice To Haves
- BSN
- Professional certification preferred.
- One (1) year of clinical experience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process and professional standards of practice.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Delegate appropriate patient care activities to Technical Nurses, Patient Care Associates, and Sitters while maintaining overall accountability for assigned patients.
- Deliver care that is individualized to each patient's age, developmental stage, and unique healthcare needs.
- Foster a culture of safety, compassion, excellence, and continuous improvement.
