Weber Human Services (WHS), located in Ogden, Utah serves a growing urban population residing in Weber and Morgan Counties. We are an organization dedicated to helping those in need rebuild their lives and reach their full potential. WHS was organized by a cooperative agreement between the Weber and Morgan county governments to serve as the local authority for the provision of their substance abuse, mental health and senior service programs. Weber Human Services is the only organization in the State of Utah providing these services under a single administration. Through dozens of human services programs, WHS helps thousands of its neighbors by supporting and empowering our most vulnerable groups including at-risk youth, the elderly, children, youth and adults suffering from mental illnesses, and those recovering from addictions. Weber Human Services creates hope and opportunities that enable all clients and staff to: do the work necessary to become their best self and find joy through people, place and purpose. Statistically, individuals who experience mental health illnesses and substance use die 25 years earlier because they have difficulty taking care of their physical health needs. That is why we started our on medical clinic on site to address these necessary needs for our clients. In this role, you will perform nursing assessments, interventions and education to our clients and assist our prescriber's in medication management and phlebotomy as necessary. Duties include; Providing nursing care to mental health and substance abuse clients in a behavioral health and primary care setting. Assist providers, patients, and clinic by performing clinical and administrative duties.
