Requirements

BSN or ASN from an accredited nursing program.
Active Nebraska nursing license in good standing, valid driver's license required.
At least 1-2 year of general nursing experience, experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities is highly valued.
Current CPR and First Aid (FA) certification.
Proficiency with computers and technology is required for daily documentation and task management.
Ability to push, pull, and lift at least 50 lbs
Strong critical thinking, time management, and the ability to teach individuals from diverse cultures and learning styles

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Coordinate Holistic Care: Review healthcare services and medications for a dedicated group of individuals.
Be a Clinical Mentor: Provide guidance and training to direct support staff on healthcare needs and safety.
Advocate: Collaborate with physicians and families to ensure the highest quality of life for those we serve.
Build Relationships: Truly get to know the people you support, celebrating their milestones and supporting them through challenges.
