Registered Nurse
About The Position
DaVita is hiring a Registered Nurse for its outpatient dialysis team in Springhill, Florida. The nurse will provide care to patients with end-stage renal disease or chronic kidney conditions. Dialysis experience is not required; paid training is provided. The role involves working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, building long-term relationships with patients, and applying a broad range of nursing skills while caring for medically complex patients. The schedule is flexible and may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. The nurse may float to nearby clinics, and training may take place at a clinic other than the employee’s home location.
Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of practice.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Reliable transportation for potential floating.
- Flexible schedule, including availability for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Experience in ICU, CCU, ER, or Med Surg.
- CNN or CDN certification.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in an outpatient dialysis setting.
- Monitor patients, manage treatment plans, and respond to changes in their health.
- Collaborate with a clinical team, including Patient Care Technicians.
- Educate patients and families about kidney health and treatment options.
- Float to nearby clinics as needed.
