About The Position

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to work in the Cath Lab for a 26-week travel assignment in the Charleston, SC area. The unit has two labs and averages 10 cases daily. The nurse will use GE X-ray equipment and the Maclab and Meditech documentation systems. Scrubs are provided as the required uniform.

The schedule is set in accordance with facility policy. The RN works every other weekend, participates in holiday rotations alongside hospital employees, and has 7–9 call days per month, including at least one weekend. Cath Lab experience is required for the patient experience profile. Procedures performed include left heart catheterization (LHC), percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), pacemaker placement (PPM), Impella, and intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP).

Requirements

• At least 1 year of nursing experience.
• RN certification/licensure.
• Knowledge of emergency medications.
• Cath Lab experience is strongly preferred; the posting also lists Cath Lab experience as a patient experience requirement.
