About The Position

Registered Nurse for Osage Beach Center for Behavioral Health. This is a Full-Time, Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) position. The opportunity is at a hospital that aims to improve behavioral health in the community, located near the Lake of the Ozarks in mid-Missouri. The Osage Beach Center for Behavioral Health is an 18-bed inpatient, free-standing, acute psychiatric hospital for adults treating mental health illnesses such as Anxiety, Major Depression, Mood disturbances, and Psychosis. As an RN, you will be responsible for providing professional nursing care to patients in a supportive and therapeutic environment within the scope of your professional license. This includes admission assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans with the multi-disciplinary team, following physician's orders, engaging in discharge planning, and ensuring patient comfort, safety, respect, and confidentiality.

Requirements

Associates Degree or equivalent from an accredited school of Nursing
Licensed and registered to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state Missouri
CPR and CPI certificate within 30 days of hire.
One (1) year of psychiatric nursing or three (3) years of nursing in a hospital setting

Responsibilities

Providing professional nursing care to patients receiving treatment in a supportive and therapeutic environment within the scope of your professional license.
Performing admission assessments.
Developing and implementing plans of treatment with members of the multi-disciplinary team.
Following through with all physician's orders.
Engaging in discharge planning.
Providing patient comfort, safety, respect, and confidentiality.
Duties of the RN shall be in keeping with accepted standards for the state of Missouri, the rules and regulations of the Hospital and the scope of your license.
