About The Position
Pre/Post and outpatient PACU supporting Phase I and Phase II recovery for adolescents, adults, pediatrics and geriatrics. Daily census approximately 10 with 4 rooms. Handles outpatient general, orthopedic, urology, ENT, GYN, ophthalmology, plastics, podiatry and vascular surgeries, with patients discharged home. Provides pre-op assessment and education, post-op recovery, anesthesia monitoring, pain management, infusion therapy and discharge coordination. Flexible scheduling required due to variable assignments and staggered start times.

Responsibilities
- Support Phase I and Phase II recovery for adolescents, adults, pediatrics and geriatrics in a Pre/Post and outpatient PACU setting.
- Perform pre-op assessments and provide education.
- Manage post-op recovery, including anesthesia monitoring and pain management.
- Administer infusion therapy.
- Coordinate patient discharge.
- Handle outpatient surgeries including general, orthopedic, urology, ENT, GYN, ophthalmology, plastics, podiatry and vascular procedures.
