US Heart and Vascular is needing a Registered Nurse to join our team at our Ambulatory Surgery Center in Spring TX. The position requires a competent clinician in invasive cardiovascular nursing care, possessing the knowledge and skills necessary to meet the standards for professional nursing practice as outlined in the Texas Nurse Practice Act. The ideal candidate will be experienced, knowledgeable, and skilled in Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) and Electrophysiology Laboratory (EP Lab) procedures and equipment. This role involves independently assisting in cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, and vascular and interventional procedures, and requires experience in the pre-operative and post-operative care associated with these invasive procedures. The nurse will follow established standards and practices under the guidance of credentialed invasive cardiologists and electrophysiologists, functioning effectively as a member of the interdisciplinary team. Practice is characterized by predominantly interdependent decision-making focused on solving problems while centered on patient care. The ability to handle unexpected emergencies and manage common contingencies that may occur in the department is essential. Patient care will be provided through nursing practices rooted in the American Nurses Association Standards of Practice, Nursing Process, and Values in specialty unit nursing, aligned with USHV strategic initiatives and health system goals.
