About The Position

Monument Health is seeking passionate and professional Registered Nurses (RNs) to join their Primary Care team within the RCMC Division. As an RN at Monument Health, you will be a valued team member providing compassionate, patient-focused care. The role involves facilitating relationship-centered care through competent clinical practice, applying the science of professional nursing, and participating in the prevention or resolution of illness, disability, or injury. You will exercise independent judgment in using the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with professional standards, institutional policies, and applicable laws. Requirements

Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) - Within 60 days of hire or transfer.
Registered Nurse (RN) - South Dakota Board of Nursing or Wyoming Board of Nursing for Wyoming facilities.

Responsibilities

Collects comprehensive data pertinent to the Healthcare consumer’s health and/or the situation.
Analyzes the assessment data to determine the diagnosis or the issues.
Identifies expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the Healthcare consumer of the situation.
Develops a plan that prescribes strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes.
Implements the identified plan.
Ensures patient progression along plan.
Coordinates care delivery.
Employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment.
Evaluates progress toward attainment of outcomes.
Systematically enhances the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice.
Attains knowledge and competency that reflects current nursing practice.
Evaluates one’s own nursing practice in relation to professional practice standards and guidelines, relevant statutes, rules, and regulations.
Interacts with and contributes to the professional development of peers and colleagues.
Collaborates with patient, family and others in the conduct of nursing practice.

Considers factors related to safety, effectiveness, cost and impact on practice in the planning and delivery of nursing services.

Proficiently uses applicable technology and software to support and document nursing activities and patient care.
