About The Position

Hospice of Central PA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its hospital-based Admissions team. The RN provides nursing services, responds to inquiries and referrals, and addresses urgent and ongoing needs for patients and caregivers. The role also supports and enhances the organization’s mission and philosophy, promoting excellence in end-of-life care.

The position is full-time at 0.9 FTE, or 72 hours per biweekly pay period, and works 12-hour day shifts. The RN must complete a 5–6 week full-time, day-shift orientation from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Weekend work is every 4–6 weekends, and holiday work is one holiday every 1–2 years.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse licensed in Pennsylvania.
• Must complete 5–6 weeks of full-time, day-shift orientation from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• A minimum of one year of experience in the last four years is preferred.
