About The Position

Registered Nurses at Canterbury Nursing & Rehab develop meaningful relationships with residents and staff by learning their life stories. They use nursing skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being in a setting supported by strong clinical standards and established care processes. The role calls for a compassionate, collaborative approach to geriatric care and a commitment to excellence. Full-time day, evening, and night shifts are available.

Requirements

• Current and valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Indiana.
• Proficient medication management skills.
• Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions.
• Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.

Responsibilities

• Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
• Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
• Coordinate with nursing and other facility teams to provide comprehensive resident care.
• Work toward the shared goal of excellent resident care.
• Support a respectful and positive work environment.
• Manage medications proficiently.
• Conduct thorough resident assessments and accurately document changes in residents’ conditions.
