About The Position

DaVita is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide dialysis care to patients with end-stage renal disease and chronic kidney conditions in a hospital setting. This fast-paced, collaborative role involves working directly with patients in ICU, CCU, ED, and other acute care units. The nurse delivers inpatient dialysis therapies, monitors patients, adjusts treatment, and supports quality outcomes while collaborating with hospital teams and DaVita clinical staff. The role also includes supporting and overseeing patient care with the help of PCTs and adapting to changing needs in a dynamic hospital environment. Paid training is provided; prior dialysis experience is not required. The nurse may work in a variety of hospital units and rotate among facilities as needed. Schedules include regular and on-call shifts, weekends, and holidays, and daily schedules may change based on patient needs.

Requirements

Current RN license in the state of practice.
ADN required.
Must pass a color vision test; accommodations are available.
Full COVID-19 vaccination may be required by hospitals in the program, potentially including a booster when eligible.

Nice To Haves

BSN preferred.
ICU, CCU, ER, or Med/Surg experience is helpful but not required.
CNN/CDN certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver inpatient dialysis therapies, including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, and apheresis.
Collaborate with hospital teams and DaVita clinical staff.
Monitor patients, adjust treatment, and ensure quality outcomes.
Support and oversee patient care with the help of PCTs.

Work in a variety of hospital units and rotate between facilities as needed.
