About The Position
Interim Healthcare is seeking compassionate nurses who love working with children to join our team. We are hiring Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) for school-based assignments throughout New Jersey. These assignments offer flexible scheduling and excellent pay, allowing you to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students needing extra medical support. Assignments vary in length, from covering short absences to full school year positions, offering flexibility in the amount of work you take on. We offer morning or afternoon shifts, the option to work one to five days a week, a school-year schedule, and per diem flexibility, allowing you to choose what works best for your lifestyle.
Requirements
- Active New Jersey RN or LPN license
- Pediatric experience required
- Current CPR certification
- Reliable transportation
Nice To Haves
- 1+ year of skilled nursing experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide care and supervision for one or more students during school bus transportation.
- Support students in the school health office during the school day.
- Accompany a specific student throughout the school day.
- Support students during off-campus activities and transportation.
