About The Position

This role is for a Registered Nurse in the Neuro Trauma ICU at Via Christi St Francis in Wichita, KS. The position is full-time and scheduled for nights. The nurse will lead holistic patient care by executing personalized care plans and monitoring clinical conditions to ensure every patient receives safe, evidence-based treatment. They will orchestrate the multidisciplinary team as the primary care coordinator, ensuring seamless communication between specialties for a unified approach to healing. The nurse will champion patient advocacy by accurately translating physician orders into bedside action while maintaining the highest standards of clinical protocol. Additionally, they will navigate the transition to home by proactively assessing and coordinating discharge needs, ensuring patients and families feel confident and supported beyond the facility.

Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.
• Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.
