About The Position

Jefferson Health at Home by BAYADA Hospice is seeking an experienced full-time Registered Nurse (RN) for an on-call position, performing emergency night visits as needed. This role services clients in Bucks County, Montgomery County, and Northeast Philadelphia. The position involves working every other week, 26 weeks per year (paid for 52 weeks), with weekdays from 5:00 pm to 8:30 am and 24 hours on Saturdays and Sundays, all with premium pay. This offers full-time compensation and benefits while working only 26 weeks annually. Prior home care, hospice, or acute care experience is strongly preferred.

Requirements

• Active and current license to practice as a professional registered nurse (RN) in the state of STATE
• One year of clinical experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to travel to cases as assigned
• A calm and reassuring presence, active listening skills, excellent assessment skills and strong written and verbal communication.
• The ability to deliver patient care as you would want those you love to be treated, with compassion, excellence, and reliability.

Nice To Haves

• Previous home healthcare experience welcomed, but not required. We will train you.

Responsibilities

• Making home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
• Performing assigned duties, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures and comfort care.
• Monitoring clients' conditions; reporting changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager.
• Following up with, executing, and properly documenting doctors' orders.
• Occasional on call after hours and/or weekends
