Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program
- Current Massachusetts RN license required
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Strong communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills
Nice To Haves
- One year of nursing experience preferred, particularly with medically complex adults, seniors, or individuals with disabilities
- Bilingual candidates, especially those fluent in Spanish, are encouraged to apply
Responsibilities
- Conducting health assessments and nursing evaluations
- Assisting in the development and implementation of individualized care plans
- Reviewing and maintaining nursing documentation, medication administration records, and physician orders
- Monitoring participant health and proactively addressing medical concerns
- Administering medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols
- Promoting health education, wellness initiatives, and preventative care practices
- Providing training, guidance, and support to program staff regarding medical needs and best practices
- Collaborating with physicians, specialists, families, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care
- Participating in care planning meetings and providing nursing expertise to support participant outcomes
- Helping maintain a safe, healthy, and person-centered environment for all participants
