South Wing 6 contains 32 beds, 2 rooms have been converted to double rooms to assist with decompression of the ER. Populations served include orthopedic, trauma, urology, musculoskeletal spinal surgery, endocrine, bariatric surgery, colorectal and thoracic patients. South Wing 6 is a fast-paced surgical unit with high acuity and great opportunity for learning and developing your critical thinking skills.
Requirements
- Successfully passed Board of Registration in Nursing Examination and is licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification required.
- Diploma in Nursing (Required)
- Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
- Registered Nurse - State of Massachusetts

Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to orthopedic, trauma, urology, musculoskeletal spinal surgery, endocrine, bariatric surgery, colorectal and thoracic patients on a fast-paced surgical unit with high acuity.
- Develop critical thinking skills through learning opportunities on the unit.
